1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the website of EcoFort Roofing ("www.ecofortroofing.ie") or by booking any of our roofing, guttering, flat roof, or repair services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

2. Scope of Services

EcoFort Roofing provides specialist roofing services across Greater Dublin, including but not limited to:

• Complete roof replacements and new tile/slate installations
• Emergency roof leak repair and storm damage containment
• Ridge tile re-pointing, re-bedding, and dry ridge systems
• Flat roof repairs (3-layer torch-on felt, GRP fibreglass, EPDM)
• uPVC fascia, soffit, and gutter installation/repair
• Soft-wash roof cleaning, moss removal, and gutter clearing

3. Free Estimates & Quotations

All initial on-site inspections, consultations, and written estimates provided by EcoFort Roofing are 100% free and non-obligatory.

• Quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance unless specified otherwise in writing.
• Estimates are based on visible inspection. If unseen structural damage (e.g., rotten timber rafters or concealed underlay decay) is discovered during work execution, we will inform the client immediately before carrying out any additional work.

4. Payment Terms & Zero Upfront Deposit

We operate a zero upfront deposit policy for standard residential roof repairs and maintenance projects.

• Payment is due immediately upon completion of work and satisfactory client inspection, unless alternative written payment schedules have been agreed for large-scale complete roof replacements.
• Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit card, and direct bank transfer.
• All invoices include full itemised breakdowns in Euros (€).

5. Guarantees & Warranties

EcoFort Roofing stands behind the quality of its materials and craftsmanship:

• Roof Replacements: Covered by a 10 to 20-year written structural guarantee.
• Flat Roof Waterproofing: 15-year written waterproofing guarantee on 3-layer torch-on felt and GRP fibreglass installations.
• Repair Works: Repairs carry a written guarantee specific to the repaired section as outlined on the issued receipt.
• Guarantees do not cover damage resulting from extreme natural disasters, uncharacteristic severe weather events exceeding normal design tolerances, subsequent third-party modifications, or structural movement of the building.

6. 24/7 Emergency Dispatch

Our emergency repair team aims for rapid dispatch across North & South Dublin postcodes. Emergency callout services focus on immediate weatherproofing (tarpaulin sealing, temporary leak suppression) to mitigate interior water damage prior to executing permanent repairs.

7. Customer Responsibilities & Site Access

Clients must ensure safe and clear access to the property, driveways, and relevant work areas for our roofing technicians, ladders, and equipment. We ensure full site cleanup and disposal of old roofing materials upon job completion.

8. Limitation of Liability

EcoFort Roofing maintains comprehensive Public Liability and Employer's Liability insurance. To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the contract value of the work performed.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any contracts entered into with EcoFort Roofing shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
